In a world marked by unprecedented challenges, the aim with our Future of Resilience publication is to illustrate different approaches to building business resilience. The global ‘polycrisis’ – characterized by the confluence of the COVID-19 pandemic, escalating climate change, geopolitical uncertainties, and rapid technological changes, including, for example, the launch of ChatGPT – calls for businesses to focus on building resilience.
In a world where the future is uncertain and change comes fast, how can companies prepare, respond, and even emerge stronger? We have explored different business strategies a company can adopt to build resilience in the long run. Based on a series of dialogues, roundtable discussions, and interviews with key Danish and American stakeholders – from educational leaders to industry pioneers – we have chosen to focus on three sub-categories of Business Resilience, namely; Technological-, ESG-, and Climate Resilience.
