Fintech in Silicon Valley - FAll Webinar Series

Join us for a webinar series focused on FinTech and how it is changing the finance industry targeting students and professionals. The series of webinars will give the participants an understanding of FinTech and the future of finance from start-ups to Tech Giants, exclusive access to experts from companies and UC Berkeley, and unique insights into the latest FinTech trends. The webinars are hosted by the FinTech Scholarship Program sponsored by Spar Nord Fonden.

The future of fintech

The finance industry is currently experiencing that digital disruption is changing their business fundamentally. Both incumbent and FinTechs player are competing for newly energized digital-friendly customers - a segment that has grown dramatically due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We often hear that economic crises and fundamental shifts in society create challenges but also new opportunities for innovative companies and in particular entrepreneurs. While Covid-19 might have slowed other industries down it has sped up many FinTech trends. Who wants to pay with cash when you can use contactless payment? Who wants to go into a bank when you can do everything online? And who doesn’t want to do a bit of investing and trading on the phone while working from home?

What will you gain from the webinars?

  • An understanding of FinTech and the future of finance
  • Exclusive access to experts from companies and UC Berkeley
  • Unique insights into the latest FinTech trends
  • An overview of what to expect from the Tech Giants in the future
