Scaling green digital solutions is key to decarbonizing our societies. As an entrepreneur in a digital startup, you can learn valuable lessons from Silicon Valley about scaling up your business. Join our team of dedicated commercial advisors across innovation and exports with a specific sector-focus on energy & water for the Green Digital SCALEit.
Network and knowledge are key elements for any startup, and the Green Digital SCALEit program will provide you with both. We will introduce you to entrepreneurs, corporate innovators, corporate VCs, accelerators and incubators, business experts and other service providers. To help you navigate the Silicon Valley ecosystem, we will also connect you to sector experts and practitioners who will provide invaluable feedback on your business model and strategy while opening up opportunities for green optimization and growth.
Here are some of the questions we will focus on during the program: How do you scale successfully? How do you pitch ideas to key stakeholders? What are the organizational challenges when your company grows quickly? What does a Silicon Valley investor look for in founders and startups? How do you set up your company in the US? What are the shortcuts to enter the US market successfully?
The program will be kicked off with a pre-session where we will get to know each other, brief you on the basics of Silicon Valley, and provide you with preliminary feedback on your business model and pitch. The purpose is to get you prepared for Silicon Valley and to get you to know how to pitch your company.
During the five-day program in the US, you will be introduced to the Silicon Valley ecosystem and have a tailored program laid out for you, focusing on green digitalization related to energy and water solutions.

A one-week program designed to give green digital startups access to the Silicon Valley ecosystem and mindset to inspire and enable scaling up business.
We are looking for green digital Danish startups (you must have a CVR number) who have achieved product-market fit and are now looking to scale or test your business in the US. Both B2B and B2C startups are welcome to apply.
The program is developed with a focus on companies working within especially energy and water, however please reach out to discuss the relevance if your green digital startup has another focus.
When selecting startups for the program, we will look at your team, product, traction, funding and what kind of value you are looking for to get from Silicon Valley e.g.:
We aim to select a group of startups that experience similar challenges in order to create greater value and better group dynamic. If you know another startup that might be interested, please spread the word.
WHEN?
The date for the five-day program in Silicon Valley was supposed to take place on August 24-28, 2020, but the program needs to be postponed due to the COVID-19 circumstances. We follow the development, thus a new date is still TBD. Nevertheless, please do reach out to us to let us know if you are interested in the program.
DKK 11,000 per founder (with SME subsidies). Two founders are expected to participate from each company. The total price of DKK 22,000 per company does not include travel, accommodation, and meals.
