Pernille Kjær, DARE-Fellow and Medical student, University of Aalborg

"The DARE fellowship is the perfect program for medical students, who would like to experience the world as part of their studies. The program opens up for the opportunity to do life science research at some of the best universities in the world. At the same time the program supports you by offering a place to live with four Danish friends, so the best of San Francisco can be explored."

Zacharias Duus Holm, DARE-Fellow and Medical Student, University of Copenhagen

"For me, the DARE Fellowship has been an amazing opportunity to see healthcare and our role as healthcare personnel in a completely new light. Through DARE, I have become even more fascinated by the nexus of digital and traditional solutions to obstacles in the healthcare sector - a field that is rapidly evolving here in Silicon Valley."

Nicolai Tange, 2IP student, University of Aalborg

"I have had the pleasure to work with the founders of Encellin. Seeing their drive, meeting their amazing and helpful network, and being allowed to work on their game-changing device has made it an unforgettable and invaluable experience. I am sure that the relationships built during 2IP will last and that 2IP has been the stepping stone to something greater."

Stephanie Michelsen, 2IP student, University of Copenhagen

"During my stay I have learned how high to aim, how to inspire, how not to inspire, and I've experienced how much hard work it takes to develop a healthy biotech startup. If you put in the effort and engage in the industry, the Bay Area's booming life science hub will give back, big time."

Janine Rosenbaum, FinTech-scholar, Copenhagen Business School

"I applied to get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the startup ecosystem in Silicon Valley and study at one of the best universities in the US. During the past months I learned a lot about entrepreneurship and product design, and gained insights into the journey of how to create my own startup. My biggest take away is the network that I built, meeting brilliant students from all over the world and creating lifelong friendships."

Sebastian Glanz, FinTech-scholar, University of Aalborg

"I chose to apply for the Spar Nord Foundation FinTech scholarship, because I wanted to challenge myself on both a personal and professional level. I suggest you apply if you want to work with the top students within your field, build a strong network in Silicon Valley, and have a once-in-a-lifetime entrepreneurial experience."
