Every day, young scientists are making great discoveries, they are finding new ways to diagnose diseases and they contribute to understanding and fighting diseases. However, the Danish life science and research scene is focused mainly on research – and less on commercializing.
In order to encourage Danish students and young Danish researchers to commercialize their research, to spin-out companies from universities, and to make their discoveries into valuable solutions, the International Innovation Project (2IP) Program sponsored by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, will give 5 talented life science students the opportunity to learn and practice these disciplines in Silicon Valley.
The 2IP Scholar will share the journey with fellow students while co-living as part of the program. The program supports the 2IP Scholar with logistics, through the visa process and will cover all necessary expenses. Most importantly, the scholar will learn the intricacies of working in a start-up company based in one of the world’s most dynamic and innovative ecosystems.
The program starts on August 1st and runs on December 31st. If you wish to apply, submit your application through www.2ip.dk by March 15th.
